Brinkley’s Custom Cabinets LLC was established in January 2009. I began the business immediately after retiring from the military. Building cabinets full time has long been a goal of mine. I built my first set of custom cabinets in 1989, and continued to build cabinets and furniture until the time I could pursue my dream professionally.

The shop is located in Buchanan on the property behind our home. I am the only employee of Brinkley’s Custom Cabinets. This gives me the opportunity to ensure that every phase of the cabinet building process meets my high standards. My overhead is quite low compared to other cabinet companies, which makes it possible for me to provide high quality cabinets at a very reasonable price.

My cabinets are entirely built in my shop. I don’t install pre-made boxed cabinets and I don’t buy pre-made doors and drawers. My cabinets are truly custom built. I have received training from The Workshop of Charles Neil. Charles Neil is a highly respected woodworker and furniture maker with nearly forty years experience who has had multiple articles published by the nation’s leading woodworking publishers.

My goal is simple… to earn the reputation of being the best (not the biggest) cabinet maker in our area.
